And well guess to be more clear, what is happening is the following (and 
its the page path, not the post var).

Page tree looks somthing like this:
Page 1            (root page of domain A)
  - Page 2
   - Page 2.1      (root page of domain B)
     - Page 2.1.1
       - Page 2.1.1.1
     - Page 2.1.2
     - Page 2.1.3  (hidden from menu)
     ...
  - Page 3
...

When accessing Page 2 or sub pages (not if they are hidden from menu 
though), the url generated for the page itself and sub pages looks like 
this: domainB.tld/page-21/. Although leaving out the page path part for 
Page 2 would just work fine as well (as mentioned Realurl generates 
links like that for pages hidden from menu). Additionally, for instance 
page-2111, i.e. a sub page of a sub page of the current domain's root 
page gets the link without the page path part of Page 2 as well. To 
visualize it here's the pages and generated urls again.

Page 1
  - Page 2
   - Page 2.1           domainB.tld/page-21
     - Page 2.1.1 domainB.tld/page-21/page-211
       - Page 2.1.1.1 domainB.tld/page-2111
     - Page 2.1.2 domainB.tld/page-21/page-212
     - Page 2.1.3 domainB.tld/page-213
     ...
  - Page 3
...
