ok - just found the 'suppress_icons' as well as the 'noIconsBelowSelect' 
setting for select fields. Never had to set them before, so I think 
there slipped a breaking change into 4.5. I nowhere provide any icons, 
nor have I configured anything to display those - and I think those 
should be hidden by default like in earlier versions.

Does anybody know why that behavior might have changed?
