What does "another  git project" mean?

if it resides on git.typo3.org: you are fine off, as your pushinsteadof 
just works out of the box.

If it doesn't reside on git.typo3.org but on xy.gaga.doorole.coolhell 
then either you don't do anything (as mostly pull and push use same url) 
or you just add another pushinsteadof for
xy.gaga.doorole.coolhell

Just check 'git config --global -l' and/or 'git config -l' and clean it up.
