I guess there are quite a few but not so much shared with the community
yet because it is just new and not every project allows to contribute to
the community (because of time, mony or customer issues).

I bet! Just see this list ;)

I am starting right now to develop a new version of a quite big website
and I am trying to do everything with extbase. It includes a smaller
news extension, galleries and so on. I hope I can share some extensions
from there.

I am also planning to update some of my extensions to use extbase but
because of the new project there is not so much free time left anymore ^^.
