Steffen,

if I uncheck that one, then I cannot resize it by hand, but it still  
is auto scaling while typing.

What I am looking for is that I can rescale it myself, but no  
automated rescaling while I type.
With the only option that it makes a sensible rescale up-on line to a  
maximum of 600, or per setting,
but only at page load time.

The automated rescaling makes it very visually 'buzy' for my eyes (and  
brain).
