Nope. Only if it can't really be avoided and there are major advantages 
in doing so. Otherwise we try not to break backwards-compatibility as 
much as possible. This is sometimes a pain, but it's a price to pay for 
stability.

I would say changes of behavior are unwelcome in a release like 4.5 
which has long-term support. We should start breaking stuff only as of 4.6.
