Hi Ernesto,

you're right, in Function setValueInLocalconfFile (t3lib_install) the 
start edit token is used.

However already mentioned in this thread a post operation is needed.
Sure, you can write a custom extension having this in ext_localconf, but 
this may be too late. Also the extTables.php is eg loaded after cache 
configuration.

So i suggest just to use an endpoint token, so you have it all at one place.

## INSTALL SCRIPT EDIT POINT TOKEN - all lines after this points may be 
changed by the install script!

will not be changed by the install script!
