confirmed using Firefox 3.5.8 with FireBug 1.5.3, FirePHP 0.4.3 on 
Ubuntu 9.10 with latest TYPO3 4.2 and 4.3 branch.

I had a quick look at the HTTP header if cookie gets lost, but it doesn't.

As soon as I disable FirePHP, it works.
