Hi, this reminds me to a discussion raised up some time ago: always use utf-8 in TYPO3, make FE conversion in page delivery if someone need other charset. Non-utf8 charsets only bring much problems like these reg expressions, or using javascript. We would have a better and more easy life with utf-8 through all. vg Steffen
