[TYPO3-dev] Image/File-Fields in BE (latest trunk)

Hi Devs,

with the latest changes (Rev7928), the TCEforms changed:
Fields of type 'group' / 'file' are not looking nice in BE now.
(btw: palettes also)

I think, this will be changed until the final release of 4.4,
_but_ I think, this would be the right time to rework the behaviour of 
file-fields, _if_ maxitems=1:

With only _one_ File (Image) allowed, you could
- disable the 'list' view of the images and
   show an Icon/Preview with filename instead
- uploading a new (second) file, should/could
   delete the existing before.

So an option like 'singleFile=1' would be great,
that enables the above options; this doesn't break
behaviour in exisiting extensions and enables a better
look in new ones.

I often have file-fields with only one file allowed
and its always annoying to explain to the customers,
that they have to delete the existing file from
the list, before uploading a new one ...

What do you think ?
