+1 for this idea.
But i think it is a better way to add this two fields to _ALL_ tables 
with TCA configurations (editable in backend).

Why only tt_content?
In theory a extension could extend all tables with a IRRE relation. So 
the standard is spreaded about all standard TCA tables.
