[TYPO3-dev] FE-user becomes someone else

Hi all,

 

I'm getting a very strange problem on a TYPO3 website, customers are
complaining, I can't reproduce the problem nor can I understand where the
problem could be.

On this website (TYPO3 4.2.8), I use the default TYPO3 built-in login
element. There's a bunch of feusers in fegroups, nothing strange here.

The customer tells me that many of their employees suddenly get logged in as
someone else. They are all on the same network, use the same IP address
(external), but many people on many different computers in a large network.
If I log in, I get logged in as the user I want to login, stay logged in as
that user while I'm browsing the website and logout when I ask it to. I
already turned caching of by "config.no_cache=1" in the root template, but
the customer says this only made the problem worse.

 

All I can think of now is that the customer is using a caching proxy
somewhere in the network, but they insist that's not the case. Can you think
of anything else that could help me out here?
