Fair enough.
I'd also say that'd you'd be quite surprised how many CTOs pass 
freelance developers by because of the fact that they are freelance 
developers.

What I don't understand:
If the devs have all those huge clients, why are they complaining about 
buying their tickets?

Bottomline:
If you say that developers and development related talks will drive the 
money towards the T3A... face the facts.

Compare the amount of techtalks to the amount of business talks.

Do you really think a CTO cares about DDD or the newest templating 
engine in demo?
