This is the point. Now I can understand why you are not able to 
understand others and maybe never will be able to this.

You do not need a RTE on all TYPO3 sites. Some persons are content with 
a simple text or HTML editor. And there are other rte extensions as 
well. The concept with sysext does not work any more because there are 
not enough Core developers available.

Most sites will not use it.

I am sure that more persons will contribute, because then they will get 
answers and find a way to get their patches in. This could help to 
overcome the current deadlock situation.

And which one will you ask? AFAIK not even this works. I have already 
asked on a list about this without any response. Your idea does not work 
at all in practice.

So find a way to let even others contribute and not to block them.
