But decisions they make are decisions of programmers, not decisions of customer-oriented people. The best example is v5. The goal is to create a "cool framework with MVC and DDD", not to create a modern, fast and highly usable CMS. This is TYPO3's major difference: TYPO3 creates frameworks, while Drupal creates communities. I can't change it and I am tired trying.
I thought the team by T3A had changed. This is what was said a bit
earlier in another post.
BTW, I must admit I absolutely do not know who it is. Once during t3dd09
someone I had seen here and there talked to all of us and gave some
present to someone as being from the association but except for that,
they are certainly somewhere but never here on those list and not taking
part and giving some official statement when such discussions arise.
After a quick search on TYPO3's website, I found who is part of the
current board. I know two names that never ever take part of such
discussion. But regarding the steering committee which is more the team
that should drive TYPO3 AFAIU, I know 6 persons out of 11 but I regret
to say that these are not very active _on this list_ either (I do not
say anything negative about their activity on TYPO3!).
To sum up stuff, a "presence" with some official sight about the future
of TYPO3 would be cool.
