[TYPO3-dev] Proper DIFFs vs. Less work for Devs

Hi guys n girls,

I spend some time with my coredevhelper and stumbled across malformed 
diffs with wrong line numbers etc.

I just wanted to ask whether there is the intention to deliver "clean 
diffs".
If so I would focus on other parts of the tool.
If not I need to port the linux patch command from C to PHP (I'd like to 
  avoid that :))
