[TYPO3-dev] Use smarty template engine in i.e. tt_news

Hello everybody,

while browsing the TER, I found some smarty-integration extensions.
I do know smarty from the zend framework and now I'm wondering if there is anyone who can tell me, how to provide samrty functionallities in i.e.
tt_news.

Sometimes there are cases, where I have to react on a special PID and have to change the html-template according to this. Smarty would make this more comfortable. 

Is there any change to solve this? Keep the usual ###marker###-rendering and add smarty-template function? 

Don't think so. Am I wrong?
