Hey Patrick, although I think it's not that big of a deal ;-) and I like it to search for a certain bug# (to see if it has been commited and when), I agree that we don't need to ship the whole thing, maybe not ship it at all? I for myself always remove the NEWS.txt, INSTALL.txt and ChangeLog files when installing a new TYPO3 src. All the best, Benni.
