Hi!

bugtracker and mailinglists are full of reports of non-properly working
TYPO3 sessions. Some of them are helpful, most of them not.

This is an approach to solve these issues. Please report your problems
here but provide as much details as possible!!!!!!

A report with only "I cannot login in the BE" is _not_ helpful.

Details of interest:
 - browser type and version
 - host setup as multidomain (with web server config (alias) or TYPO3
multidomain)
 - any redirects (with web server config or TYPO3)
 - cookie details as shown in the browser
 - sniffed network traffic (domain D sets cookie C, cookie details are
shown in browser as XXX, browser sends slightly modified cookie C back
to domain)
 - different behaviour in browser X and browser Y
 - is a proxy involved
 - TYPO3 configuration ($TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SYS']['cookieDomain'] etc..)
 - is the problem reproducable
 - does deleting cookies help

Marcus.
