Mattes,

why is it such a big deal to remove a couple of kb from core,
it's not used by most people and the people that needs it knows what  
they are doing (and it really works).

I 'might' have the discussion still, but there was a large discussion  
on IRC once about this and back then everybody decided
to keep it in core, I don't know the exact reason anymore.
