[TYPO3-dev] TYPO3 4.1.8: bug in PHP 4.4.9?

Hi list,

Looking for confirmation before filing a bug report in the bugtracker.
The newly released TYPO3 4.1.8 throws a fit on PHP 4.4.9:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting
T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in
/home/elektra/typo3_src-4.1.8/t3lib/class.t3lib_div.php on line 1379

To reproduce:

1. Upgrade TYPO3 source
2. Visit www.example.com/typo3/install/index.php :)

I don't actually see any problem at 1379, and the last explicit
mention of the PHP version requirement for the 4.1 branch is fairly
old [1]. Has the php requirement for the 4.1 branch been raised?
