There's "kb_page_icon" at least for the special icon part of your inquiry.

This extension allows you to define a different page-icon for each page. 
The Icon gets displayed in the Page-Tree visible in the middle frame of 
the T3 backend and in all page-tree browsers available in the popups for 
selecting shortcut targets, etc.

This simple extension is easily manageable by editors:
