-1 as I explained how a better way would work in the core list already. 
Putting all the deprecated messages into the warning box would basically 
flood it and make people ignore it.

I would be ok however, with a _simple_ hint in the yellow boy that 
deprecated functions are used, pointing to either the log module or the 
to be created status module.
