It's great you have endorsed all the programming techniques and
methodologies used for v5, but hey v4 is still and old school
script-to-OO connverted app which doesn't think in views and all that stuff.

All I'm asking is some low-level code that can be used by a TCA-based
extension (like "cms" is) and new ExtBase extensions.
