Dear typo3 dev team,
I built a greek website using (Typo3) and the RealURL extension.
Unfortunatly RealURL is unable to generate a useful path, if the page
title consinst only of greek letters. There is a easy but annoying
workaround: setting an ASCII alias manually for each page (for greek
letters this is also called greeklish - unfortunatly there is no
standardized way to do this, more informations on this are available in
the wikipedia).
But with the help of a 3 year old post, I could solve the problem:
http://lists.netfielders.de/pipermail/typo3-english/2006-October/032703.html
As explained there, I added translations for the greek alphabet in the
file t3lib/unidata/Translit.txt. The new version is attached, but it
might not be perfect (but as I mentioned before, there is no standard
and native speakers disagree how to translate some of the letters).
I hope it can be helpfull also for others.
peter
