Hi, I would say it depends what you want to do. Regardless of pagetype or eID you can get nice URL. If you need a lot of TYPO3-internal (e.g. Typoscript-processing, saving including "automatic" logging, ...) a pagetype may be more meaningfull than eID. If you "only" want to "output" database-entries eID is sufficient. Joerg
