The point is nobody wants to make T3 compatible with IE6 any more.
Starting with IE7 the IE browsers are much more compatible with the W3C
DOM and other browsers.

The only reason the BE of T3 works still with IE6 is that we know that
some corporate users stick to IE6 for some reasons.

Of course it should. But the efforts should be managable. As it is IE6
is a major PITA and slows down the enhancement of the UI.
