[TYPO3-dev] Update a single controller?

Hello there,

I have a frontend extension with different plugins. They are placed on the same PID. Now I want to know, if there is a possibility to update a single plugin without a page reload?

I know the xajax calls, but I can't use xajax lib in this project, only jQuery...

Any suggestions?
