Hi Dmitry and others,

I don't think nothing but...

IE6 is there for at least 2 years in real world (not the philosophical 
one nor the theoretical one)

Sadly, IT at Government level can't be as fast as for smaller companies. 
Hence the need for IE6 support.

Deprecated features should follow rules of TYPO3 right? In theory it 
would means IE6 support until TYPO3 4.5! In reality maybe 4.3 could be 
tagged as the last version supporting IE6 knowing  that TYPO3 version 
4.4 is more than 1 year ahead...

There's a big difference looking at FE browsers usage versus BE 
restrictions in corporate and government organizations. There's no point 
saying that IE6 is now 5% of internet traffic.
No one knows what is TYPO3-BE-Traffic...  ;)

Would be irresponsible, 2 months before release of 4.3, to drop such a bomb.
