Hi,
I often read discussions and comments about dropping support in 4.3, but
always some people [1], [2] wrote their opinion against.
So I'm quite sure, IE6 has to be supported in 4.3 and therefore we should
test our patches.
We already did so many chin-ups to support this oldtimer in 4.3, so IMHO
we should try it for the remaining 1-2 months of 4.3 developement, too.
As soon as the restyled login form patch [3] is in core, I planned to
write a patch with a clear warning that the user's browser (IE6) might not
be supported in future versions of TYPO3 and he/she should update right
now.
