Hi Jan,

Sometimes this may help:

Uninstall and remove realurl

Delete with phpmyadmin all the tabels of realurl (5 or 6 or so). Or, may 
be better, with the database compare of the install tool.

Empty by hand the whole typo3temp directory (rm -r *)

Remove the temp* files in typo3conf

Rename all realurl files in typo3conf so the will not be recognized.


Install the latest version of realURL.

Install the realurl extension of Michael Cannon.
