I just open naw_openid_be and I saw

class tx_nawopenidbe_svOpenID extends tx_sv_authbase

and

t3lib_extMgm::addService($_EXTKEY,  'auth' /* sv type */, 
'tx_nawopenidbe_svOpenID' /* sv key */,

therefore I must admit I do not see what is missing to make it use more 
the TYPO3 authentication framework. What is missing?
