Hi Steffen,

most easy way is to explore TCA with the configuration module, click on 
the property and copy it to extTables.
Normally you have to change $TCA to $GLOBALS['TCA'] to ensure it works.
(may be $TCA is known as well, i use $GLOBALS all the time to be safe)
