[TYPO3-dev] passwords can't be changed in 4.2.2 backend

Well that may be an alternative solution, at least better than not
finding the issues at all.

However, keeping the "closed" issues filtered out by default still makes
more sense to me. It gives you a cleaner list of issues rather than a
list which will only grow...

He doesn't need to. Just closing all resolved issues after every release
seems fine to me.

Didn't know about that. IMHO it would be sufficient to select all
resolved issues of the "TYPO3core" project and just run a batch process
with them.

I have been using resolved since the beginning, and until now I thought
that everybody did it like that. But as I'm a typical user who filters
the "closed" status, that may be the reason why I never noticed it.

I think we should, I will set something up. And stay tuned for an
interesting 3rd alternative which I just found after reading through the
Mantis manual... :-)
