[TYPO3-dev] TYPO3 4.2.2 released

Hi,

I'm just wondering. Is it possible to find out whether the database 
schema has been changed (besides text comparison of the SQL files)?

I'm asking because it's easy to replace typo3-core with a newer version, 
but it's too hard to update database schema via Install Tool. Having to 
upload ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL file to X hostings, going to typo3/install 
etc. is really annoying.

Or is there any way how to safely upgrade without having to worry that 
website won't work because of modified DB schema?
