[TYPO3-dev] Should t3lib_db support MySQL's REPLACE INTO statement?

Hi Ingo,

i definetively would say yes. I suggested that with the writing cache 
and the duplicate id issue (INSERT ... ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE)

It helps a lot for lazy inserts :-)

In the doc they say its an "extension" - is it safe that it's there for 
all users using 4.1+?
