Hey

Maybe that explains:
* If you create a new element in a workspace TYPO3 creates also a shadow 
element in the LIVE WS
* if you publish it the shadow record gets replaced by the WS-record
* and the LIVE-Shadow record gets moved in version archive.

Does that explain what you mean?
