Using the other functions suggested (exec_SELECTquery and sql_fetch_assoc)
just returned an empty array, but this solution works. One of our colleagues
suggested that I RTFM the documentation, but it has to be said,
automatically generated documentation of the API is not the easiest to grasp
and there is a distinct lack of clear documentation and howto around, I
spent the best part of an hour and a half wrestling and getting nowhere. I
apologise for asking such a basic question, but how many others have been
stuck and been too embarassed to ask?
