Hi Ries,

sure i could patch core but this is not my aim ;-)

I think it's not the best to clear cache on every save of a template. On 
big sites that makes editing problematic. Sometimes you save 3-4 times 
until you're finished. Ok, template can change render, but saving any 
content also change a page.
To see result cache can be cleared manually
