[TYPO3-dev] OpenDocs-Counter in New Backend

Hi Devs,

I read something about a record-locking mechanism
for the BE instead of simple yellow exclamation marks;

No matter if this will be implemented or not:
I often have many records open for editing and
my customers also often forget to close records,
that have been opend for editing.

So what would be _very_ nice for the BE
is a counter for open records:
Maybe between 'Logout' and 'Workspaces' in
the header;

It could be a simple counter, that reminds me (and
the custormers) about the number of open records.
Best thing would be a button for 'Close all open records'
right of the counter.

What do you think ?

Is there an easy way to determin the number of records
open for editing and displaying this in the header ?

Maybe there could be some kind of foldout (like the
new shorcut foldout in the header) for all open records ?
This popup could contain a 'Close All' as the first line.

I have no clues, how the plugin 'OpenDocs' works,
but maybe this could be integrated somehow to the header?

Yust my thougts about OpenDocs and the new Backend ...

-

Stefan
