[TYPO3-dev] Eclipse PDT installation

Hi Manfred,

Yes, it's much faster using a installation foreach language and you are
saving a lot of memory... ;)

Here (http://5-0.dev.typo3.org/trac/wiki/DevelopmentHelpers) you can get
a script for windows, developing your extension as a single project. You
just have to modify the script for working with T3 4.x. So it can be
pretty easy to test your extension with different versions of T3.
1) Create a 'htdocs'-dir.
2) Link the 3 folders from the src-package (can also be a project in
eclipse) or the svn-trunk.
Than you have to link the 3 project-folders (e.g.dummy-package:
typo3conf, etc, can also be a project in eclipse).
3) Instead of installing an extension you can put an extension into a
seperate eclipse-project and link it to the
'typo3conf/ext/myExt/'-folder of the dummy-package.
Now you can check in each extension and project on its own...

Cheers,

Malte
