I could use t3lib_extMgm::addPageTSConfig('tx_srfeuserregister...') to 
add a page TSConfig from the extension. And I can also read the page 
TSconfig somehow in the FE extension.

But I do not know about a TSConfig object browser tool. Where is a 
constants editor for it?
Therefore I think that TypoScript has better support and much more 
flexibility in TYPO3.
