:) But items don't only get unlinked if you click "unlink" - on some 
situations when you move a CE it's not copied to the destination page, 
but unlinked from the current page and only "linked" in the destination 
page. That happens when the currently displayed page doesn't somehow 
match the selected page in the pagetree (however that happens sometimes).

That'll be really nice - but on which stage should the hook snap it?
a) pre- or post-processing of the UIDs
b) manipulation of the query parameters
c) substituting the whole fetching method (which would be just like 
XCLASS, because you can't use multiple manipulations)
d) some other idea?
