Hi Andreas,

first thumbs up for your work! Refactoring this monster is hard work and 
also sensible for bugs.

I like your abstraction and using classes in OO-style. This indeed makes 
later manipulations more easy.
Sure, well known hooks should work also.

If you need any help with testing or with particular problems please 
write it. I checked out the new list-project a long time and can make 
some tests in between.
It's incredible how far you are in the shortness of time, big applause!
