[TYPO3-dev] requestUpdate does not work on selectboxes (group-fields)

i wonder why no one is responding to this.
maybe people dont want to click a link, so here is the problem:

when i try to set requestUpdate on group-fields (type=group) in TCA, i 
get no page-reload after modifying the field.

can this be fixed?
