Hi Malte,
yes, i could use another collation for this query, that would solve one
problem. (unfortunally the MySQL on this server has no german charset)
The other still exists - as i need the distinct first letter to build the
A-B-C-... the Ä (Auml;) gives me a *new* char but i don't want, i want it in
section A
but i see - if i make condition for letter<127 in my loop may be this could
be solved.
