[TYPO3-dev] Prerequisites for each Typo3 version ?

And:
TYPO3 4.2 will officially require PHP 5.2 (but probably 5.0 will work as
well)

So if you intend to upgrade to a later PHP version now anyway, you're on
 the safe side if you directly upgrade to PHP 5.2 now already.
