[TYPO3-dev] Prerequisites for each Typo3 version ?

Hi,

I've been searching prerequisites and/or recommendations of program 
versions for each Typo3 version without succesful results. They don't 
exist or are too old.
Those versions for which I need this knowledge are Typo 4.0.7 and Typo 
4.1.3.
I'd like to get official answer in to which I can trust (due quite big 
task to upgrade/maintain a bunch of servers and tens of domains mostly 
on voluntary basis (cheeper than a beer ;-)  )).

What is the minimum version for PHP ?
What is the maximum version for PHP ?
What is the minimum version for MySQL ?
What is the maximum version for MySQL ?

Any other prerequisites for PHP ?
Any other prerequisites for MySQL ?

Optional question: Which are the Linux distros recommended to be used 
with Typo3 ? (this question related to questions above due modern 
servers update their software automatically egg. due security issues)

Versions and use of other relevant software is known (and very functional).
