Hi Carsten,
try to write your user name in lowercase!
i have the problem somtimes cause my usual login normaily contains Upper  
and Lowercase
charakters. but on typo3 it needs to be all lowercase.

passwort can contain uper and lower case without any problems.

maybe this resolves your problem.
