Unfortunaltelly the 4.1.0 Doc Core API was not rendered yet at
www.typo3.org - but you can use the document directly from SVN:
http://typo3.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/typo3/CoreDocs/trunk/doc_core_api/doc_core_api.sxw

If you need some examples and a step-by-step tutorial concerning
configuration and implementation, have a look at this URL:
